Back on Your Feet - Paper Piecing
I love to paper piece and the Stampin' Up!® Back on Your Feet Stamp Set is perfect for that. I created this pretty card in Evening Evergreen and Crumb Cake to demonstrate paper piecing. The shell was a little fiddly for paper piecing, but I have to admit I love how it turned out! What do you think? Will you give it a try?
Instructions
- Cut Evening Evergreen cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold in half to form card base.
- Cut Crumb Cake card stock 4" x 5 1/4". Emboss using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Cut Evening Evergreen card stock 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"
- Cut Basic White card stock 3" x 4"
- Stamp image about 1/2" from top using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Colour image using Stampin' Blends - I used Soft Succulent, Old Olive and Crumb Cake.
- Stamp second image on 2 different Designer Series Paper patterns in green colours. I used one from Tidings and Trimmings and one from Nature's Harvest.
- Cut out pieces and adhere to the matching places on coloured image using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Stamp sentiment under image about 1/2" from bottom using Evening Evergreen Ink.
- Adhere to Evening Evergreen card stock piece using Stampin' Seal.
- Wrap ribbon around Evening Evergreen piece and adhere to the back using Stampin' Seal.
- Cut about 3" of ribbon and tie onto ribbon across card.
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.

Your Creative Escapes Retreat - Holiday Edition
We're so excited to be host our Your Creative Escapes Retreat - Holiday Edition.
While we'd all like to be able to get together to stamp, that just isn't possible yet. The retreat will be held on Friday, October 22nd from 7-9pm and on Saturday, October 23rd from 8am to 8pm! The event will be hosted on Zoom as well as streamed to a private Facebook Group for the Make and Take Sessions.
The cost is $105 CDN which includes:

- Package of Brushed Metallic Dots
- 6 Make and Take projects (includes the supplies, but you provide the adhesives and inks) and PDF instructions
