An Elegant Card
Today I wanted to share a card I created featuring the Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper and the Create With Friends Stamp Set. I love how this card turned out - it is so elegant in Basic Gray and Gold!
Instructions
- Cut Basic Gray cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form cardbase
- Cut Gold Foil 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut 3 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 5/8" x 3 3/4" - all different patterns
- Adhere to the Gold Foil piece using Stampin' Seal
- Wrap trim around middle and tie a bow on the right hand side
- Adhere to the card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Cut Gold Foil 1 1/4" x 3 3/4"
- Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 1 1/8" x 3 5/8"
- Stamp "Happy" sentiment using Basic Gray ink on the left hand side of the Very Vanilla piece
- Adhere to the Gold Foil piece.
- Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
- Stamp "birthday" sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock using VersaMark
- Sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder and heat to melt.
- Cut around word and adhere to the right hand side of the sentiment piece using Dimensionals.
- Adhere Gilded Gems to card base.
