Canada Inks Up! Blog Hop - Birthday Celebrations
Welcome to the Canada Inks Up! Team Blog Hop. Today our projects are all focused on "Birthday Celebrations"! I hope you'll take some time to check out all of the amazing projects and "hop" from blog to blog!
For my card, I used the Bloom Where You're Planted Product Suite. I have to admit that I wasn't sure about this suite when I first saw it, but I'm loving it! You can create amazing cards using the Stamp Set and coordinating Dies, or you can use the stunning Designer Series Paper and add a sentiment like I did on my card. I added a little bow with frayed tails made from the Just Jade and Gold ribbon. I love the colour combination of Just Jade and Cinnamon Cider. What do you think?
Instructions
- Cut Cinnamon Cider cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base.
- Cut Just Jade cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Cut Just Jade cardstock 1" x 4"
- Cut Basic White cardstock 3/4" x 4"
- Stamp sentiment on Basic White piece using Cinnamon Cider ink - stamp in the right hand side of the piece.
- Adhere to the Just Jade piece using Stampin' Seal.
- Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals about 1 1/2" from bottom
- Tie a small bow from ribbon and adhere to the left hand side of the sentiment piece using a Glue Dot.
- Use your Take Your Pick Tool to fray the tails of the bow.
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp pot in bottom right corner using Cinnamon Cider ink
- Stamp plant using Just Jade ink
- Stamp sentiment using Just Jade ink
- Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
