Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - Ribbon Technique
I'm excited to be participating in the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. Today we're sharing Ribbon Techniques. For my project, I used beautiful Fine Art Floral Bundle along with the Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon
Instructions
- Cut Rococco Rose Cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form card base.
- Cut Basic White cardstock and emboss using Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
- Add a strip of Stampin' Seal approximately 1/4" from left hand side of Basic White cardstock.
- Apply ribbon in pleating technique starting at the bottom - with Glitter side up (see YouTube Video for instructions on how to do this technique). Leave about 1" at bottom and top.
- Apply second strip of Stampin' Seal approximately 1/4" from other ribbon.
- Apply ribbon in pleating technique starting at the bottom - with Satin side up (see YouTube Video for instructions on how to do this technique).
- Adhere top and bottom pieces to back using Stampin' Seal.
- Add a glue dot under each pleat to hold it down
- Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Stamp flower using Rococco Rose ink - background image is stamped off one and detailed image is full strength.
- Apply a small amount of Multipurpose Adhesive Glue to the flower and then apply Gilded Leafing Embellishment. Rub off excess using sponge.
- Stamp leaves and stem using Old Olive ink
- Cut out pieces using Dies
- Adhere Stem and Leaves to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Adhere flower using Dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Basic White using Rococco Rose ink.
- Cut out using Die.
- Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals.
