Hey Birthday Chick
Have you seen the Hey Birthday Chick stampset in the January to June Mini Catalogue? It's so cute! The only thing that could make it better is coordinating dies! Guess what, Stampin' Up! has released the dies to go with this stampset! And to make it even better, they have brought back the adorable Hey Chick stampset with coordinating dies. Did you get that stampset in 2017 when it was part of the Sale-a-Bration rewards?
I had fun playing with the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle this week! Here's my card - isn't it adorable?
I paired the stamped image with some pretty paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. Perfect for a masculine birthday card!
I love the Happy Birthday dies - they are perfect for popping up using the Adhesive Foam Sheets.
Instructions
- Cut Bumblebee cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" can fold in half to form card base.
- Cut In Good Taste DSP 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Stamp chicken on Basic White cardstock and colour with Stampin' Blends - I used Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze
- Cut out with 2 3/8" circle die
- Cut 2 1/2" scalloped circle die from Bumblebee cardstock
- Adhere stamped chicken to scalloped circle using Dimensionals.
- Adhere Foam Adhesive Sheet piece to Bumblebee cardstock and cut out Happy Birthday using Dies.
- Cut Cajun Craze cardstock 1" x 3" and cut tag end in one end
- Adhere Happy Birthday to the right hand side about 1/4" from tag end
- Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Wrap Linen Thread around palm of hand about 4 times and pinch middle. Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal
- Adhere chicken piece over thread using Dimensionals.
