Share it Sunday - Sand & Sea

I'm excited to share another pretty card featuring the Sand & Sea Product Suite.  I have fallen in love with this product suite!  I shared a card in my last post in So Saffron and Melon Mambo.  Check it out!

Today's card is a little more subtle than that, but the pop of colour and the gold leafing add just the right amount of bling!  Check out my You Tube Video for some tips and tricks on making this card and applying the Gilded Leafing Embellishment - it isn't as scary as you might think!


Instructions

  1. Cut Seaside Spray cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base.
  2. Cut Gray Granite cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
  3. Cut 2 pieces of Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and cut out large shell die from both.
  4. Adhere 1 of the cut pieces to the card base using Stampin' Seal.
  5. Stamp shells on second cut piece using Crumb Cake Ink and Blushing Bride.  Emboss the piece using the Shells embossing folder.
  6. Cut out shell pieces using Paper Snips
  7. Stamp large shells with Versamark and sprinkle with Heat and Stick Powder.  Heat to activate the adhesive.  TIP:  Heat from underneath.
  8. Dip the pieces into the Gilded Leafing Embellishment and use sponge to remove excess. Check out my You Tube Video for more tips and tricks.
  9. Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
  10. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Seaside Spray ink.
  11. Punch out.
  12. Cut 3 1/2" of ribbon - cut slant on both ends and adhere to the back of the punched out sentiment piece using Stampin' Seal.
  13. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
  14. Adhere 3 Opal Rounds randomly on card.

    Have you seen the Sand & Sea Bundle! It's amazing!

    I'm in love with the Sand & Sea Product Suite from the January to June Mini Catalogue!  Maybe it's because I live close to the ocean - I'm not sure, but every card I make is so pretty!

    Check out this very pretty card in So Saffron and Melon Mambo!  I added a hint of gold using the Gilded Leafing Embellishment from the Fine Art Floral Suite.  Another favourite of mine!


    Isn't the gold pretty - just the right amount of bling!

    Instructions

    1. Cut So Saffron cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form card base.
    2. Cut Melon Mambo cardstock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
    3. Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
    4. Cut large die from Pearlescent Specialty Paper.
    5. Emboss using embossing folder
    6. Stamp on large shells with Versamark and add Gilded Leafing Embellishment (TIP:  I have my leafing in a large container and dip the stamped cardstock into it.  Use a sponge to rub off the excess)
    7. Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals
    8. Cut Melon Mambo cardstock 5/8" x 3 1/2"
    9. Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 3 3/8"
    10. Cut flag end on both Basic White piece and Melon Mambo piece
    11. Stamp sentiment on Basic White piece using Melon Mambo ink
    12. Adhere to the Melon Mambo piece using Dimensionals
    13. Adhere to the right hand side of card base - lining up with Melon Mambo mat using Dimensionals.
    14. Adhere 3 Opal Rounds.

    International Highlights Winners Blog - January 2021

    I’m so excited to be featured in this month’s International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. I was selected to participate in this hop by finishing in the top ten of the January 2021 International Highlights. Thank you to everyone who voted for my card! The theme for the International Blog Highlights is "Thank You"! Here's my Forever & Always Step Card that I shared in the International Highlights Blog Hop.  


    Today I'm sharing a card featuring the Ice Cream Corner Product Suite from the January to June Mini Catalogue.  I've had so much fun playing with this product suite!  Every card I create make me smile.  The colours of the Designer Series Paper are amazing!


    Instructions

    1. Cut Bermuda Bay cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base.
    2. Cut Granny Apple Green cardstock 4" x 5 1/4".
    3. Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to Granny Apple Green piece using Stampin' Seal.
    4. Wrap ribbon around piece and tie a bow on left hand side.
    5. Adhere piece to card base using Stampin' Seal.
    6. Stamp 2 scoops on Basic White cardstock using Bermuda Bay ink without re-inking your stamp.  One image will be lighter than the other.
    7. Stamp sprinkles on each scoop using Bermuda Bay ink
    8. Punch out.
    9. Punch out cone shape from Soft Suede cardstock.
    10. Stamp criss-cross on cone using Soft Suede ink.
    11. Cut out 2 3/8" stitched circle from Basic White cardstock.
    12. Adhere circle to card base using Dimensionals.
    13. Adhere cone and scoops on circle using Dimensionals.
    14. Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and fussy cut around it using Paper Snips.
    15. Adhere over cone using Dimensionals.
    16. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
    17. Stamp ice cream cone using Soft Suede ink for cone and Bermuda Bay for scoop and sprinkles in bottom left.
    18. Adhere to the inside of the card using Stampin' Seal.

    Doesn't the cone look yummy!

    More fun with Handsomely Suited!

    I've shared some of the cards I created using the Well Suited Dies from the Bundle in previous posts - you can check out my Pinstripe Suit card, Feminine Card and my Golf Shirt. Today I'm sharing a card featuring the stampset.  I love this cute bow tie!  It makes me think of some colleagues of mine who don a bowtie as part of the BowTie Special Interest Group at meetings we participate in.  It's harder to do this now that we're meeting virtually, but one day we'll be back to in person meetings!

    Isn't this checked Designer Series Paper great!




    Instructions

    1. Cut Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form card base.
    2. Cut Pacific Point cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
    3. Cut Designer Series Paper 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and adhere to the Pacific Point cardstock using Stampin' Seal.
    4. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and adhere Designer Series Paper piece to it using Stampin' Seal.
    5. Tie grey twine around bottom of piece 3 times and tie a bow on the left hand side.
    6. Adhere to the card base using Stampin' Seal.
    7. Cut Basic Black cardstock 2 3/8" x 2 5/8"
    8. Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/4" x 2 1/2"
    9. Stamp bowtie and sentiment using Pacific Point ink.
    10. Adhere to Basic Black piece using Stampin' Seal.
    11. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
