Metallics in Plaid
Here's another card featuring the Best Year Bundle. This time I've used the Brushed Metallic cardstock. I love how you can make anytime of card with this bundle - today's card is perfect for that special man in your life!
Instructions
- Cut Early Espresso cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form a card base.
- Cut Copper Brushed Metallic Cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Cut Early Espresso cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Adhesive Sheet and adhere to the back.
- Cut out using thin plaid builder Die. TIP: Run through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine multiple time to try to cut through the backing on the Adhesive Sheet. It will make it easier to remove all of the cut out pieces
- Remove the cut out pieces.
- Cut Brushed Gold Metallic cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Adhesive Sheet and adhere to the back.
- Cut out using Thick Plaid Die. TIP: Run through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine multiple time to try to cut through the backing on the Adhesive Sheet. It will make it easier to remove all of the cut out pieces.
- Remove the cut out pieces.
- Peel off backing and adhere to the Early Espresso piece so that the cross is in the lower left corner of the opening.
- Cut Very Vanilla 3 3/4" x 5"
- Peel off backing of the Early Espresso piece and adhere to the Very Vanilla piece. Trim edges to fit.
- Cut Brushed Copper Metallic cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Adhesive Sheet and adhere to the back.
- Cut out using thin plaid builder Die. TIP: Run through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine multiple time to try to cut through the backing on the Adhesive Sheet. It will make it easier to remove all of the cut out pieces
- Remove the cut out pieces.
- Peel off backing and adhere to the Very Vanilla cardstock so that the cross is in the top right corner. Trim to fit.
- Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" and stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink.
- Cut Early Espresso cardstock 1 3/4" x 2 3/4"
- Adhere sentiment using Stampin' Seal.
- Adhere to the centre of card base using Dimensionals.
