Sailing Home - Masking Tape Technique
Instructions
- Cut Misty Moonlight cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form card base
- Cut Whisper White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
- Cut 4 strips of 1" masking tape or painters tape
- Lay 1 strip of tape onto Misty Moonlight ink pad and press down to pick up some ink
- Lay that strip onto Whisper White cardstock about 1/2" from top
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 with Seaside Spray ink, Balmy Blue ink and Soft Suede ink.
- Stamp light house and sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
- Cut Seaside Spray cardstock 4"x 5 1/4"
- Adhere Whisper White cardstock to Seaside Spray cardstock using Stampin' Seal.
- Wrap Misty Moonlight ribbon around bottom and tie a small knot on left hand side.
- Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal
- Cut Whisper White cardstock 4" x 51/4"
- Stamp compass in bottom right using Misty Moonlight ink
- Adhere to the inside of the card using Stampin' Seal.
