Can you CASE it Friday - Snowman Season

Today I've CASE'd (Copy and Share Everything) a card from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue featuring the Snowman Season Suite.  This has been my featured bundle this week with my Colour Challenge blog post on Sunday and the card I designed on Tuesday blog post.

Today my card is CASE'd from page 18 of the Holiday Catalogue.  I love how happy this card is!

Instructions

  1. Cut Coastal Cabana cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base.
  2. Cut Let It Snow Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base
  3. Cut Whisper White cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" and emboss using the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder
  4. Cut 2 pieces of Real Red cardstock 1" x 3 3/4".  Adhere to the back of the embossed cardsock
  5. Wrap Whisper White Twine around bottom of embossed cardstock and tie in a bow on the left hand side.
  6. Adhere to the card base using Snail
  7. Fussy cut out 3 snowmen from Designer Series Paper
  8. Adhere to cardbase using Dimensionals.
  9. Cut a piece of Real Red cardstock 3/4" x 3"
  10. Stamp sentiment in Versamark.  Add White Embossing Powder - shake off excess and heat to melt.
  11. Adhere to card using Dimensionals

    Snowman Season

    This week I'm focusing on the Snowman Season Suite.  I shared my Colour Challenge on Sunday featuring Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Silver Glimmer - you can check it out here.  

    Check out today's card.  It features the same stampset but a different snowman.  This one is happy too!



    Instructions

    1. Cut Real Red cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form card base.
    2. Cut Let It Snow Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4 and adhere to card base using Snail.
    3. Cut Whisper White cardstock 1 7/8" x 4" and punch out using Delightful Tag Topper Punch
    4. Stamp snowman using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
    5. Colour using Stampin' Blends - Pool Party and Cherry Cobbler for scarf, Pool Party around snowman and Crumb Cake for ground
    6. Cut 4" pieces of Curly Real Red Ribbon and Whisper White Polka Dot Ribbon.  Tie through tag
    7. Adhere to cardbase using Dimensionals
    8. Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock
    9. Punch out using Scallop Circle Punch
    10. Punch out Real Red Circle using 1 1/2" Circle Punch.
    11. Adhere scallop circle to Real Red Circle using Snail.
    12. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.

      Colour Challenge - Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Silver

      This week I'm featuring the Snowman Season Bundle.  Today it's my Colour Challenge: Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Silver Glimmer. 



      Here's the card I created using these colours:


      I love this stampset!  The snowman are so happy looking and make me smile every time I stamp them.  For this card I used the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit to add the toque, mittens and scarf as well as the arms and coal buttons.  Love how it turned out!

      Instructions

      1. Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form card base.
      2. Cut Let it Snow Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base using Snail.
      3. Cut Silver Glimmer Paper using 2 9/16" x 3 9/16" Stitched Oval die
      4. Cut Whisper White Cardstock using 3 1/4" x 2 9/16" Stitched Oval die.
      5. Stamp snowman on Whisper White oval using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
      6. Colour around one side of body using Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend
      7. Colour around outside of body using Light Pool Party Stampin' Blend
      8. Colour nose with Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blend
      9. Adhere arms
      10. Adhere coal for buttons
      11. Adhere felted scarf, toque and mitts using Glue Dots
      12. Adhere to Silver Glimmer Oval using Snail
      13. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
      14. Adhere two strips of Silver Glimmer Paper 1/4" x 4" to bottom of card base using Snail
      15. Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and punch out using 1 1/2" Circle Punch.
      16. Stamp snow flakes using Delicata Silver Metallic ink
      17. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals

        Today I've CASE'd (Copy and Share Everything) a card from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue featuring the Good Morning Magnolia Suite.  This has been my featured bundle this week with my Colour Challenge blog post on Sunday and the card I designed on Tuesday blog post.

        Today my card is CASE'd from page 36 of the Annual Catalogue.  Isn't this pretty!


        Instructions

        1. Cut Mossy Meadow cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base
        2. Cut Mossy Meadow cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
        3. Emboss using the Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder.
        4. Stamp 2 magnolias on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and colour with Stampin' Blends - I used Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo.
        5. Cut out using dies
        6. Stamp a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock with swoop stamp and cut out using Die.  Cut to 3" long
        7. Stamp sentiment in Mossy Meadow on a 1 3/4" x 5/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock
        8. Wrap Mossy Meadow twine around hand 3 times.  Pinch sides together and adhere to bottom right of embossed card stock with Snail.
        9. Adhere 1 magnolia using Snail.
        10. Adhere crumb cake piece using Dimensionals
        11. Adhere 3 1/2" piece of ribbon using Snail
        12. Adhere Sentiment using Dimensionals
        13. Adhere magnolia using Dimensionals
        14. Adhere pearls

          Good Morning Magnolia

          This week I'm focusing on the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle.  I shared my Colour Challenge on Sunday featuring Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow and Basic Black - you can check it out here.  

          Check out today's card.



          I love this bundle and particularly love the Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow colour combination.


          Instructions and Measurements




          1. Cut Mossy Meadow card stock 5 ½” x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base. 
          2. Cut Petal Pink card stock 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to card base.
          3. Cut Whisper White card stock 3 ¾” x 5”.
          4. Stamp large Magnolia images on Whisper White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Stamp one on the bottom right side of cardstock and one in the top left
          5. Cut out using the 2 5/16" x 4 5/16" Stitched Nested Label die.
          6. Colour the image on the label using Stampin’ Blends - Petal Pink (Light and Dark), Mossy Meadow (Light and Dark) and Crumb Cake (Dark)
          7. Add some Wink of Stella to the flower
          8. Adhere Whisper White card stock (without inner label) to card base using Snail.
          9. Adhere label to card base using Dimensionals.
          10. Stamp Happy Birthday words on scraps of Whisper White card stock and cut out using Paper Snips
          11. Adhere words using Dimensionals
          12. Fold a 4” piece of Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon in half and tuck under label – adhering with a Glue Dot

            Colour Challenge - Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow and Basic Black

            This week I'm featuring the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle and today it's my Colour Challenge: Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow and Basic Black. The perfect colour combination for this bundle!




            Check out my card.  I think this layout might be my new favourite!


            Instructions and Measurements


            1. Cut Basic Black card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form card base.
            2. Cut Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" adhere to card base using Snail.
            3. Cut Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper 4" square and cut along the diagonal to form a triangle. Fold triangle in a half and cut along fold line to form smaller triangle. 
            4. Adhere 1 triangle to top and bottom of card base using Snail. 
            5. Cut out Stitched Nested Label Die (2 5/16" x 4 5/16" from a scrap of Basic Black card stock
            6. Cut out Stitched Nested Label Die (2 1/16" x 3 13/16") from a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. 
            7. Stamp magnolia image in the middle of the label using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. 
            8. Colour image with Petal Pink Stampin' Blends (light and dark) and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends (light). 
            9. Stamp sentiment on bottom of label using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. 
            10. Adhere stamped label to Basic Black label using Dimensionals.
            11. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals. 
            12. Adhere Rhinestones to label.
