Amazing Congratulations

Friday, 23 November 2018

Today I'm sharing a card that I made using the Stamparatus.  The stampset is Amazing Congratulations and is a three-step stamp, each time you stamp you add a little bit more detail to the "Congratulations".  I would have never attempted a card like this before the Stamparatus - I could never line up the stamps perfectly.  Now, with the Stamparatus, it's so easy!

Instructions

  1. Cut card base from Night of Navy card stock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score in half.
  2. Emboss a piece of Coastal Cabana card stock (4" x 5 1/4") using the Tufted Embossing Folder
  3. Stamp a piece of Whisper White card stock (4 3/4" x 2") using the Stamparatus
    • First stamp the outline in Coastal Cabana
    • Stamp the beginning of "Congratulations" using Night of Navy
    • Stamp the rest of the words in Crumb Cake
  4. Stamp the rest of the sentiment in Night of Navy
  5. Adhere stamped piece to Crumb Cake card stock (5" x 2 1/4").
  6. Adhere to the Coastal Cabana piece of card stock using Dimensional.
  7. Colour the white ribbon using the brush end of the Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Up! Blends marker.  Adhere around the embossed Coastal Cabana piece of card stock using Snail.
  8. Adhere the Coastal Cabana piece to the card base using Snail

Animal Outing - OnStage Card Share

Tuesday, 20 November 2018

Today I'm sharing a card I made for a swap at OnStage last week.  It's always so fun to participate in swaps - I made 50 (yes, 50) cards and I came home with 50 cards made by amazing demonstrators from around the world in return.

I'll be sharing some of these cards over the next few weeks, both on my blog and in Facebook Live videos on my Facebook Group.  If you haven't joined my Facebook Group, jump over there and join now so that you don't miss out on everything going on in that group.
I'll be doing Facebook Lives, prize patrols and other events in this Group starting soon!  Please join so that you don't miss out!

Here's my swap card.  I used the Designer Series Paper as the focal point and then stamped various images on different cards. This one features the adorable rhino and bird.  I used the Smoky Slate and Pineapple Punch Stampin' Blends to add some colour and finished off the card with ribbon and a punched out sentiment.

Everything I used on this card is available in my Online Store.  You can check out the list of supplies below.
