My husband and I don't typically make a fuss over Valentine's Day but I have to say that when I saw the Sealed with Love Bundle (Item 144705), I couldn't resist.  I know that this bundle will be used for Valentine's Day, but I love the idea of the little envelopes with notes tucked inside for any occasion.

Here's the card that I gave to my husband today!  Isn't the red and white pretty!

For this card I embossed vellum cardstock using the Falling Petals embossing folder.

Fundraiser in support of Honour House - New Westminster

I'm so excited that I'm part of a group of demonstrators that will be hosting a fundraiser in support of Honour House in New Westminster. We would love to have you join us for some stamping fun and sharing. Stampers are such generous people and I know when I tell you about this worthwhile cause you'll want to help!

So....what is Honour House? I'm glad you asked.

Honour House Society is a refuge, a home away from home for Canadian Forces personnel, emergency services personnel (RCMP, police, firefighters, EMT) and their families to stay, completely free of charge, while they are receiving medical care and treatment in the Metro Vancouver area.

These brave individuals, along with their families, sacrifice so much on a daily basis to protect our freedom and our everyday way of life. Honour House allows us the opportunity to show them that we care and how much we appreciate all that they do.

Honour house receives no direct funding and raises all of its operating costs through donations and fundraising. The house has one full time and one part time member of staff. Almost all of the work needed to keep Honour House running is carried out by our dedicated board of directors and our hard working team of volunteers.

So are you ready to help?

Please join us for a day of stamping and fun while we raise money for this worthwhile cause. Our goal is $2,000 which will provide 75 days at the House. We can do this together! 

You will make six amazing stamping projects during our time together. We will also have amazing prize and raffle draws and a 50/50 draw too! It will have the similar format to the event we run each year for Ronald McDonald House (last year we raised $4,000 with your help!).

I hope you'll join us and help us raise funds to support the brave women and men who serve our communities.

You will be invoiced seperately for the ticket price after you have registered - you can pay by credit card, PayPal or e-transfer. Information will be sent once you've registered.  The Early Bird Price (until March 3) is $45; after March 4 the full price is $55. Please put the amount of the donation in the "notes" section of that ticket.

My fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators and I are donating our time, resources and product so that all of the registration fee can go to Honour House for direct service.
