It's been fun having friends come for classes

Saturday, 31 January 2015

I've had a couple of classes over the past few days.  It's always fun to get together with friends to stamp.  I promised to share some of the card that we made.

This card uses the Bow Builder Punch, Happy Heart Textured Impressions embossing folder and paper from the Stacked with Love DSP stack
I love the Celebrate Today stamp set and coordinating Balloon Framelits
Love is Kindness stamp set with the Artisan Embellishment Kit
Uses the Indescribable Gift Stamp set, Artisan Embellishment Kit and and Pink Pirouette Blendabilities
Uses the Irresistibly Yours DSP sponged with Crushed Curry Ink and the Simply Wonderful Stamp set - both free choices in the Sale-a-Bration catalogue

Hello from San Antonio!

Tuesday, 20 January 2015

I've fallen behind on my posting!  Where does the time go?  It is that time of the year when I seem to fall prey to a cold.  I'd managed to avoid getting sick over the holidays when my husband was sick, but sure enough it finally caught up to me.  Much better now!  I'm enjoying the sunshine in San Antonio, TX for a week of work related meetings.  I really enjoy the River Walk area where we are - lots of activity with the restaurants, pubs and people!  It's a really pretty place especially at night with all of the lights in the trees!

I have classes scheduled for January 28 and 31 that still have spaces available!

More shares from Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogues

Sunday, 11 January 2015

I've had so much fun playing with the new products in the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogue.  Every catalogue there is one stamp set that I completely fall in love with.  Can you guess which one that is?  Is it the same as yours?

For me, it is Butterfly Basics with the coordinating Butterflies Thinlets.  I don't think I've seen a card made with these products that I don't absolutely love.  Here's a few samples - you be the judge!
This card used Blackberry Bliss and Gold as the main colours with the butterflies cut out of Gold Foil!  My favourite so far!
This card is case'd from the Occasion's catalogue - too beautiful not to!  I changed up the sentiment!
This card was designed by Ann Driscoll for a stamping event I attended.  Love it!
The stampset is available in wood, clear and polymer!

You can purchase the stampset and thinlets as a bundle!  Don't forget that it's Sale-a-Bration so if you spend $60 you can choose a free reward from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue.  Purchase the Wood or Clear bundle and you're there!

Happy New Year

Saturday, 3 January 2015

Happy New Year everyone!

I wanted to share this amazing card that I received from my friend Sue.  Sue has been learning how to quill and has done a beautiful job with the Christmas card she sent to me.  She's combined quilling with Paper Pumpkin with Stampin' Up! products.  I love this.

It's hard to see the snowflake but it hangs in the window.  She's used the Festival of Trees stamp set and coordinating punch for the trees, the stamp set, wash tape, twine and tags from Paper Pumpkin and the quilled snowflakes.  Didn't she do a great job!  I will be saving this card to show off!  Thanks Sue!

Don't forget that the Holiday Catalogue ends on January 5th - while some products are being carried over, not all are.  If you want to order anything from the catalogue, send me your order before January 5th so that you don't miss out.

The Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration start on January 6th.  Email me if you want to received the new catalogues!
