Festive Friday Challenge #119 - Farmer's Day
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
This week’s challenge FF #119 Farmer's Day
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. For my card I've used the Stampin' Up! Apple Harvest Stampset and coordinating dies. Unfortunately this is the last day that these dies will be available so if you're interested, you need to get your order in! This is a pretty clean and simple card for me, but was fun to make.
I used Green, Die Cut, Kraft Card and Thank you Sentiment from the Inspo List. My card is one of the 5" x 7" Kraft Note Cards - so easy to pull out and use to create a card!

Instructions
- Fold Kraft Note card on score line and burnish with Bone Folder.
- Stamp hash images on left side of note card randomly using Crumb Cake ink.
- Stamp apple image on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Colour with Stampin' Blends - Real Red and Old Olive
- Cut out using Die
- Wrap Linen Thread around card base twice and tie a bow on right hand side
- Adhere apple over thread using Dimensionals
- Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
- Cut out using Paper Snips
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
- Adhere Red Rhinestones
- Colour apple with Wink of Stella
- Cut Basic White cardstock 3" x 4 1/2"
- Stamp hash image on bottom right corner using Crumb Cake ink
- Adhere to inside of card
- Stamp hash image on flap of envelope using Crumb Cake ink.

Monthly Card Club
Starting in October, you will be able to join my Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.
The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
Registration is now open for the October Club featuring Sweet Candy Canes. Registration closes October 8th.

I love a good clean and simple card Melva and your eye-catching apple just pops off the neutral background. Just lovely!

ReplyDeleteMelva, love the fabulous apple and what I really love is the textured background is reminiscent of a basket, but doesn't detract from the focal image and adds just the right amount of texture. Fabulous card
