Festive Friday #116 - Celebrating Grandparents Day
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
This week’s challenge FF #116 Grandparents Day
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. For my card I decided to use the Stampin' Up! Yeti to Party Bundle to create a fun Spanner Fold card. This could be for valentines day! You'll be able to order the coordinating Yeti Dies starting September 1st and you'll save 10% on the bundle.

Instructions
- Cut Sweet Sorbet card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on score line to form card base.
- Cut at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4" from bottom to the score line.
- Cut the window from the middle of the middle flap using the Die.
- Emboss the middle flap using the Bricks and Mortar Embossing Folder.
- Cut Window Sheet 1" x 5 1/4" and adhere between left and right flap about 1/4" from bottom.
- Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1" x 4" and adhere to the left and right flap.
- Stamp Yeti on Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Cut slit in arm of Yeti using die
- Colour face and horns using Petal Pink Stampin' Blends or Light Natural Tones Stampin' Blends
- Adhere to Window Sheet so that Yeti can be seen through window opening.
- Stamp heart using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Cut out using Die
- Colour using Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blend
- Tuck into slit and adhere using a Dimensionals.
- Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1" x 4" and adhere to inside of card base on left and right side.
- Cut Basic White card stock 3" x 4"
- Adhere to the middle of the inside of the card.
- Wrap twine around middle front flap twice and tie a bow
- Stamp sentiment using Sweet Sorbet ink on Basic White card stock and cut out "Hugs".
- Adhere to card base using a Mini Dimensional.
- Adhere Heart Pearls
