Festive Friday #115 - celebrating International Dog Day
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
This week’s challenge FF #116 International Dog Day
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This card is so pretty in Pool Party and Crumb Cake! I used the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder to add texture in the background!

Instructions
- Cut Pool Party card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold on score line to form card base.
- Cut Crumb Cake 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base
- Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5" and emboss using the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder
- Adhere to the card base
- Stamp bird image on Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Colour with Stampin' Blends - Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight.
- Cut out using Die
- Wrap Linen Thread around palm of hand 2-3 times. Pinch in middle and adhere to card base in bottom right corner
- Cut out large and small leaf from Crumb Cake card stock using Dies
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals over Linen Thread
- Adhere bird on leaves using Dimensionals
- Stamp sentiment on Pool Party card stock using Tuxedo Black memento Ink
- Cut out using Paper Snips
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
- Adhere Glossy Dots
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp bird image on left side using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Adhere to the inside of the card.

ReplyDeleteI love all of the elements you used for this sweet card. Love that birdie image, and you've colored him beautifully, but I also love the uncolored stamped image inside the card. Love the embossing leaves and twine as well. Well done!
