Festive Friday #112 - Alice In Wonder Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge!  Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project.  We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.


This week’s challenge FF #112 Alice in Wonderland Day



Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge  At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. For my card today I used hearts, teacup and holes from the Inspo List.  It features the Stampin' Up!® Tea Boutique Suite from the Annual Catalogue.  I was really happy my Aperture card turned out.  What do you think?



Instructions - Check out my YouTube video for tip and tricks to make this card

  1. Cut Basic White card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold on score line to form card base.
  2. Cut 3 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" and adhere to the card base starting about 1/4" from top and leaving about 1/4" between each piece
  3. Cut the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies from Sweet Sorbet card stock
  4. Adhere to the card base about 1/2" from top
  5. Open card base up and cut the middle from the Sweet Sorbet circle using the 2nd largest Circle Die from the Stylish Shapes Dies.  You may have to run the die through multiple times as you are going through 3 layers of paper.
  6. Stamp sentiment using Sweet Sorbet ink on Sweet Sorbet card stock
  7. Cut out using banner die from Stylish Shapes Dies with sentiment close to left edge of banner.
  8. Adhere to the right side of the card partly in the opening with edge hanging over card bae and trim off excess.
  9. Tie a bow and adhere to the card base.
  10. Stamp tea cup using Starry Sky ink on Basic White card stock
  11. Stamp 2 leaves using Garden Green ink on Basic White card stock
  12. Cut out tea cup and leaves using Dies
  13. Adhere to the inside of the card base so that they show through the opening.
  14. Cut out small heart from Sweet Sorbet card stock.
  15. Adhere to the tea cup using a Dimensional.

    I LOVE this card, Melva! This is a great choice of papers, with an awesome layout! The entire card just shouts "HAPPY!" Who wouldn't like to find this in their mailbox!
