Festive Friday Challenge - National Best Friends Day
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
This week’s challenge FF #110 - National Best Friends Day
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. If you want help entering, please email me at stampinwithmelva@gmail.com and I’d be happy to help you!
For my card this week I used the amazing Hues of Happiness Suite. I selected feminine, pink, friendship sentiment and patterned paper from the Inspo List. What would you have chosen?
I am in love with this collection - much to my surprise. The Designer Series Paper is stunning and I used just a little bit of it for this pretty card in Melon Mambo. The stamping on the background added the right amount of detail. What do you think?
Instruction
- Cut Melon Mambo cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on scoreline to form card base.
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp flowers randomly using Melon Mambo ink.
- Adhere to card base.
- Cut 2 pieces of Melon Mambo cardstock 2" x 2 1/4"
- Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 3/4" x 2"
- Adhere to Melon Mambo cardstock
- Adhere to card base about 3/4" from left hand side and top and bottom.
- Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Daffodil Delight ink
- Fussy cut and adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
- Adhere Glossy Dots
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp sentiment and flower in Melon Mambo ink
- Adhere to inside of the card.
