Stamping With Friends Blog Hop - Birthday Fancy Fold Cards
Welcome to the Stamping With Friends February Blog Hop as we share what projects we are currently working on to inspire you. You will be visiting with our Design Team Members as they share their wonderful projects and ideas to help spark your creativity. This month our theme is Fancy Fold Birthday cards.
I have been having fun playing with the Driving By Stamp Set that is available for free during Sale-a-Bration. The van and cars are so adorable! I couldn't resist making a Spanner Fold card and added in some of the amazing Hey Sports Fan Designer Series Paper. I love the colour combination of Evening Evergreen and Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight!
Check this out!
Instructions
- Cut Evening Evergreen card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score at 4 1/4" and fold on score line.
- Cut at 1 1/4" from bottom to score line on both sides.
- Cut Window Sheet 1 1/4" x 5"
- Adhere across the middle of the card base between the flaps
- Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1" x 4" and adhere to the 2 outside flaps.
- Stamp 2 vehicles on Very Vanilla card stock using Colour using Stampin' Blends - Evening Evergreen, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate and cut out using Paper Snips. Cut off the balloons from the sports car.
- Adhere to the Window Sheet using Dimensionals
- Stamp the 2 vehicles using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Silicone Mat and then press ink on to Very Vanilla card stock - this will produce mirror images of the vehicles.
- Colour using the Stampin' Blends to match vehicles on front.
- Cut out and adhere to the back side of the vehicle (to hide the Dimensionals)
- Cut Very Vanilla card stock 2 3/4" x 4"
- Stamp sentiment on top using Evening Evergreen ink.
- Adhere to the middle flap
- Wrap ribbon around bottom of the middle flap and tie a bow
- Adhere balloons using Dimensionals.
- Adhere embellishments
- Cut Very Vanilla card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp sentiment in the middle of the heart using Evening Evergreen ink.
- Adhere to the inside of the card
- Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 5 1/4" and adhere across the bottom of the Very Vanilla cardstock piece
