Festive Friday #103 - National Peanut Butter Lovers Day
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
This week’s challenge FF #103 - National Peanut Butter Lovers Day!
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. If you want help entering, please email me at stampinwithmelva@gmail.com and I’d be happy to help you!
For my card I used the Stampin' Up!® Easter Friends Stamp Set and the amazing Neutral Tones Stampin' Blends! Oh my gosh, these new Stampin' Blends are amazing! We've needed more neutral tones for awhile for skin tones, but they are also perfect for colouring anything that needs more shades of brown! Isn't this bunny adorable!!!
I used Brown, Twine and Circles from the Inspo List for my card!
Instructions
- Cut Crumb Cake card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold on score line for form card base.
- Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss using Stripes Embossing Folder. You will need to emboss the card stock in 2 sections as it is a small embossing folder. Check out my YouTube Video to show you how to do this.
- Colour twine using darkest Neutral Tone Stampin' Blend. Cut the same length of Crumb Cake Twine and wrap around Basic White piece twice. Adhere to the back of the card stock
- Cut 5" of Crumb Cake Twine and tuck underneath twine layers and tie a bow on the left hand side.
- Adhere to the card base.
- Cut out 2nd largest scallop circle from Early Espresso card stock
- Cut out 2nd largest circle from Crumb Cake card stock.
- Adhere Crumb Cake circle to Early Espresso circle using Dimensionals
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
- Stamp bunny image on Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Colour using Stampin' Blends
- Cut out using Paper Snips
- Adhere to circles using Dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White card stock
- Fussy cut sentiment using Paper Snips
- Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals
- Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Adhere to inside of card base.
