Art in Bloom - Have you checked out the Hybrid Embossing Folder?
Have you seen the Art in Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder? I am so in love with it - you can emboss and cut out at the same time! How amazing is that? I used it for the card I'm sharing today. I love the Shimmer Vellum Paper and it embosses so beautifully!
Instructions
- Cut Night of Navy card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base.
- Cut Night of Navy card stock 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss using the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder.
- Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Cut Pale Papaya Shimmer Vellum 2 1/2" x 4" and put in embossing folder over the large flowers. Cut out and emboss using Die.
- Cut Vellum card stock 2 1/2" x 4" and put in embossing folder over the large flowers. Cut out and emboss using Die.
- Cut out 4 leaves from Soft Succulent Shimmer Vellum
- Adhere Vellum flower to centre of card base using a Glue Dot
- Adhere 2 Pale Papaya flowers in front of Vellum Flower using a Dimensional in the middle.
- Adhere leaves behind flowers using Glue Dots
- Cut Pale Papaya and White ribbon 4" and fold in half.
- Adhere in bottom right corner tucked under flower using a Glue Dot
- Cut label from Basic White card stock
- Stamp sentiment on right hand side of label using Night of Navy ink
- Cut the label to 2"
- Adhere to the right hand side of card over ribbon
- Add 3 embellishments

Your Creative Escapes Retreat - Holiday Edition
We're so excited to be host our Your Creative Escapes Retreat - Holiday Edition.
While we'd all like to be able to get together to stamp, that just isn't possible yet. The retreat will be held on Friday, October 22nd from 7-9pm and on Saturday, October 23rd from 8am to 8pm! The event will be hosted on Zoom as well as streamed to a private Facebook Group for the Make and Take Sessions.
The cost is $105 CDN which includes:
- TWO stamp sets - Delivering Cheer (from the July to December Mini) and Tidings and Trimmings (from the Annual Catalogue)
- Package of Brushed Metallic Dots
- 6 Make and Take projects (includes the supplies, but you provide the adhesives and inks) and PDF instructions
- Pillow gift
- Prizes throughout the day
Sign up and pay by September 26th and you'll be entered into a draw for a Bundle AND you'll receive a Sale-a-Bration item (Level 1) of your choice.
Deadline for sign up is October 6th at 11:59pm Pacific.
