Festive Friday 0079 - World Frog Day
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and a Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
This week’s challenge #FF0079 is World Frog Day Day. Isn't that a fun day to celebrate!.
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. Instructions
- Cut Granny Apple Green cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form card base.
- Cut Pool Party cardstock 3 5/8" x 5 1/8"
- Cut Shimmery White cardstock 3 1/2" x 5"
- Using Blending Brushes, blend Granny Apple Green, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight ink on Shimmery White cardstock. Start at the top with Daffodil Delight and work down in bands of about 1 1/2".
- Adhere to the Pool Party cardstock using Stampin' Seal.
- Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Adhere the laser cut overlay to the card base using Glue Dots behind the Dragonflies. If the overlay you're using doesn't have pieces big enough to hide a glue dot, apply Stampin' Seal where the label will go which will hide your adhesive.
- Cut 2 pieces of Granny Apple Green 1/2" x 5 1/8" and adhere to card base approximately 1 1/2" from bottom of overlay using Stampin' Seal.
- Stamp sentiment on laser cut label using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Sponge the edge of the label using your Blending Brush with Daffodil Delight ink.
- Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
- Sponge a Dragonfly with Daffodil Delight Ink and Blending Brush.
- Adhere to the right hand side of label using a Glue Dot.
- Cut 2 pieces of Linen Thread approximately 4" long. Tie a bow and adhere to the right hand side of the label with a Glue Dot.
